In the weeks leading up to the reveal of Mother Mother’s “It’s Alright” music video, they will showcasing some extra special video clips of… real people.

After realizing the impact that the song was making, they decided to include stories from people that were going through hard times. Because the song is about self-forgiveness, they thought this would be the perfect fit.
The band will also be including their own stories as well!

Ryan from the band released a video about the project last Friday!!

It will be interesting to see the project bloom and come to life.

Hey everybody. It’s Alright is about the healing quality of self-forgiveness. Based on the reaction from our listeners, we found there to be a therapeutic value in the words and music that was making impact and helping people get through some hard times. This prompted the idea to make a music video starring real people with real problems. We invited fans to share their stories, and then express those stories using their beautiful and unique faces on screen. The result is an honest and vulnerable video that we’re very proud of. We’d like to thank everyone who was involved, and all the fans who made submissions. You really put yourself out there. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to include everyone, but we heard everyone, and felt everyone, and we’re incredibly grateful, and humbled by your courage and honesty. Our message behind this song and video is to advocate talking about one’s problems, or points of shame, guilt, embarrassment, regret etc, to a comforting and non-judgmental source. By doing so, we are better able to separate from our issues and see them more objectively, allowing us to work our way through, and move closer to peace. In the weeks leading up to the video drop, we will be sharing some of the stories from the faces you’ll see in the video, and each band member will be taking part as well. After all, we’re all in this together. Thanks for reading, and thanks for all the good vibes surrounding It’s Alright. #ITSALRIGHT #SEEABETTERDAY . Don’t suffer in silence.
