Tour of Alberta: City

Today the Tour of Alberta will take Grande Prairie by storm. A huge festival is set for the Eastlink Centre (start and finish of race) at 4oclock. The actual race (team trials) start at 615 and is a 19.6km course.

Here are the road closures for today (btw transit is free)

Closed from noon to 8 p.m.

• 100 Avenue from Resources Road to 102 Street (Downtown)

• No street parking on 99 Avenue and 100 Avenue.

Closed from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

• 68 Avenue from 106 Street to Resources Road

• Resources Road from 68 Avenue to 100 Avenue

• 99 Avenue from 102 Street to Resources Road

• 100 Avenue from 102 Street to 106 Street

• 102 Street from 102 Avenue to 108 Avenue

• 108 Avenue from 102 Street to Highway 43

• Traffic on Highway 43 will be reduced to two lanes from 108 Street to 107 Avenue
