First off those Jays?!!! You can jump on the bandwagon still without anyone really knowing. Playoff bound, for the first time in over 20 years. They have two more series left in the regular season to determine exactly where they will finish and seed for the playoffs (leading the American League right now) Baseball playoffs start October 6th.

The next day is the start of the NHL regular season. (Oct 7th) Oilers and Flames poised to renew the Battle of Alberta (it’s been a little one-sided and stale) Night 1 will feature Calgary and Vancouver… Oil play the Blues the next night.

October 9th is huge for MMA fans in Grande Prairie with the return of Xcessive Force and ‘Bad Blood’ 3 title fights, also featuring local phenom Spencer the Judge Jebb. Entrec Centre in Evergreen Park.

Good time of year to be a sports fan. Make sure to hit the treadmill at least once this week for all those snacks and bevvies.
