In a new interview, Jon Bon Jovi explained that the music business is a different animal than it was when he first started out.

He said,

“You know, the rules are changing. And it’s not any better or worse. It’s just different for [a] different generation of people that are coming up now. They have to worry about likes, you know, things like that that are so much different than when I started. It was all really solely about a song. And then, could you perform? That was the criteria.”
