Roger Daltrey has commented on the possibility of a future avatar tour or show from The Who.

Earlier this year, Pete Townshend, Daltrey’s bandmate, mentioned the idea in an interview with the New York Times. The guitarist expressed his desire for the band to “play every territory in the world” before they “crawl off to die.”

When asked if he shared Townshend’s view on a digital performance by The Who, Daltrey quipped: “What, we’re going to go out and do ABBA covers? I don’t think so. I’d look f****** awful in a mini dress!” After considering the idea of a virtual Who gig, the singer added: “I’ve never thought about it. I wouldn’t want to go and see it.”
