The Grande Prairie RCMP and RCMP Major Crimes Unit – North have identified the deceased adult female found in a remote rural area northwest of the City of Grande Prairie as being 24 year old Amber Dawn DIEBERT*. Amber was last seen on December 8th, 2015. The RCMP now believe that Amber DIEBERT is the victim of foul play. Amber was reported missing to the Grande Prairie RCMP on December 10th, the day before the discovery of her body. Her family have been advised. Amber was Caucasian, 119 lbs., 5”4”, with Brown hair and Brown eyes.
Amber DIEBERT was an acquaintance of another missing female, 30 year old Jody TOPILKO*. Jody was reported missing to the RCMP on December 8th, 2015, but was last seen on November 29th, 2015. The RCMP are anxious to locate Jody TOPILKO and confirm she is safe and sound and hope that she can assist the RCMP in understanding what happened to Amber DIEBERT. At this time, other than the fact that DIEBERT and TOPILKO appear to have known each other, the RCMP do not have any other linkage between them.
TOPILKO is described as Caucasian, 5’3”, 115 lbs. with brown hair and green eyes. Jody TOPILKO may be associated to the following vehicle:
2015, Black Chevrolet 1500 pickup, Alberta Licence L02 511.
