GP to take over the World?

A bit of a surprise at City Council last night, as they passed a motion allowing for the discussion of amalgamation as a governance option. The area included would be the City of GP, Hythe, Beaverlodge, Wembley, the County of Grande Prairie and Sexsmith.

Now nothing has been decided, and there will sure be push-back and maybe even get to a debate stage. I also don’t think those of you who enjoy lower taxes will be able to continue to do that… for now *evil laugh*

Ooooo, maybe we can take over Dawson Creek and the EnCana Events Centre too… we will be on July 16th with Journey in town, be there by winning tickets with Kevin and myself all this week!
